Admissions
If you wish to apply for a place for a child to start in Reception in September 2024, you must apply through Lincolnshire County Council between 15 November 2023, and 15 January 2024 (12 noon).
You can find out about the application process on their website:
https://www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/schools-education
Parents are welcome to arrange a visit to the school - please call us on 01476 566121 if you would like to make an appointment.
Our Planned Admission Number (PAN) is 34 children.
Applications for Midyear entry must also be made through Lincolnshire County Council.
If your child is refused a place at the school you should contact the school if you wish to go onto the reserve list. This list is in the order of the over-subscription criteria, as required by the School Admissions Code. This means that names can move down the list if someone moves into the area and is higher placed on the over-subscription criteria. The governors do not take account of the time you have been on the list.
Please read the Admission Policy before applying, and provide any additional information or supporting documentation, where appropriate. Please contact the appropriate place of worship for details of their verification process, if appropriate.
Lincolnshire County Council requires that we admit pupils into school in the year in which they are five. We have a policy of admitting all four-year-old children in September at the beginning of the academic year. This, therefore, includes all children where the fifth birthday falls between 1 September and 31 August of that academic year.
It is our policy to provide the best opportunities for our new children to settle happily into our school environment. Once Reception places have been offered by the Local Authority, children who will be starting with us in September are offered two preliminary visits during the Summer term prior to admission. During one of these visits, parents are invited to a meeting where they are introduced to the life of the school.
We aim to ensure that every child has the best opportunity to adjust to life at school in a happy and secure atmosphere.
Registration of Pupils (Regulation Amendment Act 1988)
The above named regulation requires schools to keep a register of all living parents of its pupils. The school therefore needs to know the name and address of all parents, whether or not resident with the child. Where natural parents do not share the same address, please notify the school.
