Daily Routine
Here is the usual pattern for the school day. Timings during the day sometimes vary because of special events.
Total length of school week: 32 hours and 30 minutes per week.
7.45am Breakfast Club opens for those children who are booked. Parents should bring their child/ren to the designated Breakfast Club entrance, via the school's car park.
8.45am. The school day begins for all children and gates open:
- Reception/Key Stage 1 parents and pupils queue on the Church path and use the gate at the side of the hall; and
- Key Stage 2 parents and pupils queue on the school's pedestrian path underneath the Willow tree.
Please do not arrive at school before this time. As a Healthy School, we encourage children to walk, cycle or scooter. Bicycles and scooters can be left securely at school throughout the school day (children need a Cycle Permit to cycle to school - please ask at the school office).
Please do not bring cars into Church Street,
or park in such a way as to cause an obstruction,
or danger to pedestrians or other road users.
Parents'/Carers' cars are not permitted on school premises, unless there are exceptional circumstances (please ask at the school office for more information).
8.55am. Children should arrive before this time and go straight in to their classroom, so they are ready for the start of the school day. If you are delayed, and the gates are closed when you arrive, please accompany your child to the main entrance. If you know that you are going to be late, please let us know, if possible.
