On 21st February we held a 'Paired Reading Workshop'. The workshop was open for parents with children in years 2-6 who wish to further enhance and support their child’s reading development. ‘Paired Reading’ is designed to help children develop fluency in their reading and to provide a supportive approach to help children read with pace and expression.

The workshop was hosted by Helen Lane who is a Specialist Teacher, in this area. Mrs Lane delivered the workshop to help clarify key aspects of reading and techniques for parents to try when using ‘Paired Reading’ at home. Please find below the handouts from the workshop:
